I'm all for animals being treated well and not killed for erroneous purposes. If animals are being killed for sustenance, then I'm cool with that. I eat meat like a lot of other human beings. It's part of life. I am opposed to people wearing fur though. For one, they often skin those animals alive. Just horrible. And two, fur is so hideous and tacky. Seriously, I've never saw anyone wearing fur and thought "Damn, they look cute today." Because wearing fur is ugly and wearing fur makes you look cheap.

I also think it's great that Jennifer Lawrence didn't lie about it and even told PETA to screw off. Good for her. PETA annoys me. I know a lot of vegetarians and vegans who don't support PETA because they are so extreme and most of the members seem cray. I'm sure their are some very sane and non extreme PETA members but you never hear about them. I like what PETA stands for (stopping animal abuse) but not the way they go about it. They jump on everyone about any little thing they do or say. Granted they have the right to say it but when you constantly harp on people you tend to lose your merit. It gets old and you stop listening. They also throw red cups of "blood" and other substances on people. Case in point, the Kim Kardashian flour bomb. While hilarious, it wasn't right. She was already choosing to wear fur, so "attacking" her about wearing fur probably won't make her stop wearing fur. It's like someone who is homophobic. Shoving your sexuality in their faces won't make them any less homophobic. It will actually make them more homophobic. I have kind throw PETA into the same category of the Westboro Baptist Church. Angry extremists with lots of time on their hands to be judgmental.
This made me giggle.
